Fuji X-t3 | 18mm f/2
In December 2023 I went to Japan to visit my sister and her family. I wanted to bring my camera but wanted to keep my setup as small as possible. I decided on getting the 18mm f/2 which is as small as a lens can be before being considered a pancake lens. The lens itself is pretty mediocre when it comes to image quality. The only thing I can say about the auto-focus is that from a technical perspective it is a feature of the lens. But, at f/2 I was able to shoot at night and its small form factor meant that I brough my camera with me every where and was able to quickly pull it out and shoot on the go. This setup was something I really enjoyed because it meant I could focus on enjoying taking pictures and moving on with what I was doing and not having to worry about taking a break to make sure my camera was safely stored in my backpack.
The following pictures were taken at Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara, and Beppu.
